In the museum of Tossa de Mar (opened in 1935) are, apart from the mosaic of the atrium of the villa romana dels Ametllers, a collection of paintings by Catalan artists who created in the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, another collection by artists of the 20th century who have stayed and created in the years 30 in Tossa de Mar and the famous painting " El Violinista Celeste " by Marc Chagall.
